Description
Black soy fermented bean paste boasts a sweet, umami flavour – add it to your stir-fries, stews or marinades. This paste is made with black soybeans, Taiwanese glutinous rice, water, salt and sugar. The paste is fermented for 180 days using traditional methods. The finished result is a paste rich with the aroma of soybeans, and the sweet flavour of rice.
Add a spoonful of this Taiwanese bean paste to stir-fry sauces and beef stews, or mix it with rice vinegar to create a dipping sauce.
