The Cook Pal frying pan is a joy to use. Made in Japan, it’s compatible with all stove tops, including induction. Use it to sauté onions or fry chicken katsu until crispy and golden.
The Cook Pal Japanese Carbon Steel Frying Pan is available in two sizes:
- 24cm
- 28cm
The pan has a wooden handle that stays cool while you cook. The cooking surface heats quickly and evenly for superior browning and caramelisation. Deep sides prevent spills and splashes. You can use it to simmer and shallow fry, as well as sear and sauté.
The frying pan is remarkably light, allowing you to lift and toss with ease.
Cook Pal cookware is made from the highest grade of carbon steel. It’s produced in Tsubame City in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. This area is famous for the production of cutlery and kitchenware.
Carbon steel is extremely durable and resistant to rust. It won’t warp or stain, even after long-term use. The pans undergo a thermo-treatment process to increase hardness and corrosion resistance. With care and proper seasoning, these pans will last a lifetime.
Note: Thermo-treatment leaves small iron particles on the surface which can stain clothes and kitchen towels. The particles are 100% harmless and won’t affect the taste of your dish.
Not dishwasher safe. Wash in hot water with mild detergent. Use a soft sponge or natural fibre brush to remove food debris. Dry immediately after washing and ensure the pan is completely dry before storing. Do not use to store food. Seasoning required before first use.
