Honest Toil Extra Virgin Greek Olive Oil in Dark Bottle, 500ml

Honest Toil extra virgin olive oil has a fresh, grassy flavour. Swirl it over rustic soups and salads with crisp green leaves. Smooth and full-bodied, it has a lingering peppery finish. 

The oil is made with Koroneiki olives grown in the Greek countryside. They are cold-pressed within hours of being picked.

The oil is stored in a dark green glass bottle to protect it from sunlight. Store it in a cool, dark place to preserve its flavour. Once empty, the bottle can be washed and reused.

Drizzle the fragrant green oil over hummus and grilled meat. Or, serve it with warm bread at the start of your meal. We like to use it as a finishing oil at the end of cooking. Swirl it over white beans and pasta dishes at the dinner table.

Honest Toil extra virgin olive oil is extracted within hours of the harvest to produce a raw oil with the freshest flavour. It is unfiltered, so contains the sediment from olive skins and pips that gives it an opaque, rich green colour and thickness. Its light peppery spice is balanced beautifully by cut grass flavours.

The simplicity of the pressing process means that no nutrients are removed or repurposed, and no other oil or preservatives are added. The oils’ immediate extraction means that acidity is incredibly low, with each bottle registering between 0.2%-0.3% on the acidity scale (with 0.8% being the legal requirement for it to qualify as extra virgin). This simple, grassroots journey from grove to bottle results in the purest, freshest oil possible.
