Description

Farfalle is a butterfly or bow-tie shaped pasta. Originating from northern Italy, this popular pasta shape dates back to the 1500s. The indents and ridges hold sauces well.

Farfalle is a good match for creamy sauces with salmon or peas and ham. The shape also works well in pasta salads. Toss cooked farfalle with salami, olives, tomatoes and a tangy dressing. It’s a perfect make-ahead dish for barbecues and summer parties.
