Description

Morelli Ziti is a long, tube-shaped pasta from Campania, Italy. It’s hollow, like a drinking straw. It’s often broken before cooking and served with rich, meaty sauces.

If you’re craving comfort food, try making baked ziti. This Italian-American favourite pairs ziti with tomato sauce and Italian sausage. Top with plenty of cheese and then bake until gooey and golden. Serve with a crisp green salad to balance its richness.

For a lighter meal, serve broken ziti with a simple tomato sauce. Use San Marzano tomatoes for authentic Italian flavour.

Morelli pasta is bronze-drawn and dried slowly at low temperatures. This is the secret to the rough surface that helps sauces to cling.

Cooking time: 8 minutes.

Store in a cool and dry place, away from cereals.
