Description
Red bean mochi, also known as daifuku, are a sweet Japanese snack, traditionally served with green tea. Made with glutinous rice, these soft, chewy rice cakes have a sweet, red bean paste filling.
These glutinous rice sweets are popular across Japan and Taiwan. In Korea they are known as chapssaltteok, and are often given as a good luck gift to students taking exams.
