Description

Supermalt is a non-alcoholic malt drink with a sweet, refreshing taste. It is made in the same way as beer, but without the yeast which gets added to convert sugar to alcohol. It has a naturally high vitamin content, especially B vitamins.

Supermalt was first produced in 1972 and was originally used by the Nigerian army as a healthy food supplement to re-energise the troops. It quickly grew in popularity and has become synonymous with Afro-Caribbean history and culture.
