Description

Terre Exotique chopped basil is a fantastic addition to Italian and Mediterranean dishes. If you don’t have fresh basil to hand, this store cupboard saviour is the next best thing. A small pinch will add the unmistakable flavour and aroma of basil to soups, spaghetti and rich tomato sauces.

Dried chopped basil is a great match for Mediterranean ingredients like garlic, olive oil and tomatoes, as well as herbs like parsley and oregano. Try sprinkling it over pizza, adding it to marinades or tossing through rice and cooked grains. It’s also great paired with oil and white wine vinegar as a simple dressing for salads and roasted vegetables.

The company was founded by Erwann de Kerros, a Breton and seasoned traveller.
