The Platera’s striped shiitake mushroom placemat is bold, beautiful and inspired by the bounty of nature. Made from 100% cotton, it features a large, earthy brown shiitake mushroom on a background of bright orange stripes. A wavy red embroidered border is an eye-catching finishing flourish.

The hand-painted design is printed with reactive dyes to make it resistant to washing and light exposure. Reactive dyes create vibrant, long-lasting colours so you can enjoy these napkins for years to come.

About The Platera

The Platera is a small business based in Barcelona that specialises in hand-painted tableware. Founded during lockdown by Elisabet Castellá, the pieces are designed to be mixed and matched to create a playful, personal collection. Elisabet enjoys experimenting with colour, pattern and texture and this is reflected in her beautiful textiles and tableware.
