The Lingot insert is hassle-free – ideal for keen cooks who aren’t green fingered. Each Lingot is made of organic seeds, organic soil and essential nutrients. The Lingot is specially created to guarantee optimal growth, and optimal flavour, for every plant.

Within 1-2 weeks you’ll see sprouts,
within 4-5 weeks the organic green shiso will be ready to eat, and
you can expect a weekly harvest for the next 3-4 months.

Green shiso, also known as Japanese basil, has a herby, slightly citrusy taste. Use the green leaves to garnish sushi rolls, blend with olive oil and garlic to make a zingy pesto, or top the leaves with spicy tuna.
